Black Marquina Marble - A Before & After

Black Marble is of course a timeless fabulous element to incorporate on any design. Mother nature doesn’t make any mistakes and always gifts us with perfect shades of colors and combinations that are one of a kind. When we get extra lucky we are able to find a beautiful balance of black & white from a natural source that we get to display and enjoy.

When it comes to being artistic there are no limits though. Technology allows us to go far with our imagination and create specific looks that are not only durable, but also eco friendly and gorgeous. A beautiful modern combination that comes in oh-so many varieties. More and more I find myself selecting fabricated stones to incorporate in my designs. From accent walls to kitchen islands, options are endless, customizable and fantastic.

This time, I wanted to share with you one of my latest installations of Silestone, a hybrid combination of quartz and other minerals, that had the perfect look for this gorgeous family room - the perfect image that I created in my mind to bring extra inspiration to this home. All the glamour, zero worries. I applied Et Marquina to the back of this focal point of a bookshelf and transformed it expanding the black shades to the entire room from the fireplace mantle to the custom swivel chairs. The result is a glamorous, timeless and oh so chic moment that my clients can enjoy everyday! I call this a dream come true.
