One Room Challenge - Chic Foyer Week 3
Welcome to Splendor (again)!
It´s already Week 3 of the One Room Challenge and it´s been a couple of busy days. You can catch up with previous weeks in here: Week 1 | Week 2.
If you follow me on Instagram you already know that I picked the wallpaper! I knew that was going to be one of the first decisions to make and I was sooooo nervous! When it comes to take decisions for my own space I take forever. So, after trying a bunch of gorgeous samples I decided to go with the first one I picked... obviously.
I also decided on a couple of basic pieces like a wall mirror and a console table (Yei!) Removed the narrow shelf that was in there and marked the space with painters tape. This is very helpful when designing a space that you can see under different circumstances.
A flushmount ceiling light is also on its way! I wanted to match a bit the industrial light bulbs in our chandelier in the living room. And! I put together a mood board with ideal pieces. I always do this for my clients and this time I did for the hubby! ;) What do you think?
So, still in my TO-DO List for this week is:
- Install wallpaper
- Camouflage thermostat
- Find ottoman
- Art
- Table lamp?
- Accessories (add a bit of color)
I picked up these goodies to try on the space when the wallpaper is up (!) And I'm sure that I'll find more. So, that's it for this week. It felt like a lot.
