One Room Challenge - Chic Foyer Week IV

My reflection on a Kelly Wearstler mirror at High Point Market Spring 2015

I can't believe is week 4 of the One Room Challenge!

This project has been tons of fun as it's a space that sets the mood for our tiny apartment. Foyers are crucial in any home, right?

WARNING - This is going to be a quick post... i've been feeling under the weather these days. If there's anything tough about living in the DC area is allergy season :( and in my case it just gets worse. So, straight to business.

I had the best experience looking for key pieces on Etsy. This equestrian mirror is absolutely perfect. Hand made by Garrett Blake, I think it will look so chic in our foyer. I'm still waiting for a knob to put it in place. Can't wait!

For the console table I decided to go with simple lines and a bit of texture. Dendro Co let me customize every single detail, so I went with glossy black hairpin legs and a dark walnut top. I haven't received the table yet, but I have to say that working with them was such a bliss. The possibilities are endless! :)

Also, to add some glam to the space I got a pair of that Regina Andrew lamp with a marble base that you can see above (so so beautiful) AND a couple of Jonathan Adler's wall hooks. Both still on the mail... can't wait to get them! <3

And last but not least... WALLPAPER IS UP!!!!!!!!! It's a huge and amazing change in the whole apartment. I love it so much, it seriously gives you a big welcome when you enter the apartment. Also, it was A LOT of work. I'm glad I didn't try it myself. Three doors and a couple of cricked corners are no joke when it comes to wall decor.

So, that's it for now. If you want to see sneak peeks of this space follow me on Instagram or Twitter. I'm constantly posting pictures of my work :) And, this is still on my to do list:

  • camouflage thermostat
  • get some art
  • place mirror on the wall
  • solve bench/ottoman situation
  • figure out final styling

Wish me luck these last weeks! This is almost done!

Thanks so much for passing by! xoxo.
