PROJECT - CHIC GLAM HOME OFFICE (WEEK 4)
Welcome to week 4 of my home office transformation! You can see my previous posts and how it progressed in here.
This week has been crazy! but I managed to make some meaningful changes in this space :) First of all, here's a picture of the hubby doing his magic and placing those fabulous hooks on my new storage unit! Wohooooooo!! He says his work is part of my bday present. Adorable! <3
It looks like a simple task, but even the smallest details make a difference in a room, so I spent quite some time deciding for the best way to place the pulls on their place. Here's a couple of pictures of me trying different options, and measuring 500 times before making holes in the unit's doors.
Oh and yes! I used wallpaper leftovers to beautify the interior of the doors. I like bringing other elements from the house to every room. it make sit all look more cohesive and harmonious. Do you like it?? :)
Which one do you think I went with? i don't have a good picture of the unit yet because shelves are not on the wall and ALL my decor pieces are on top of it. But don't worry! the big reveal is coming soon! ;)
Another big accomplishment this week was to finally start ordering some art! Art pieces are not only the final touch in a room, but they make the whole design come together. And, I'm so excited to use a piece of one of my favorite artists, Leigh Viner. I've been using this one in many mood boards for clients and now it's going to be in my own home! So happy! :)
Also, this FABULOUS mirror is coming my way. I can't wait to hang it on the wall!
And last but not least, even with the room being incomplete, I had to style it a bit! I started with my desk and my new etagere which I love! So, here's a sneak peek of the current vibes in the room.
