Dreaming about furniture - or anything in life, actually - is easy, you guys. Picturing perfection with the right measurements; a fabulous color and the softest materials - done! Making those dreams come true, kind of a challenge.

As you know, I've working hard on giving our living are a new look. My idea is to make it masculine and simple with a touch of glam (read gold in here!). See? all that makes sense in my head. Obviously. Maybe it sounds all sorts of crazy to you (does it?) Anyways, on top of everything, all that needs to be done with a budget that doesn't break the bank, and reusing some of our current pieces. Oh my! I'm so happy for the internet and fabulous sources like Pinterest and Instagram these days. And if you are wondering about it, oh yes I absolutely made a board for this space - maybe that's a better way to explain my dreamy design. Check it out! :)

So first things first. I need, want, dream of a leather sofa. When we moved to this new place, the hubby and I made an agreement. Both of us got one personal housewarming gift. Yes! it was the perfect opportunity to commit to a timeless piece of furniture investment. He got a new tv and a home theatre system (big challenge to include all these in the new design, btw). And I got - you are right! - a leather sofa. YES!! :)

Well, then the search began.

I came across SO many fabulous options! Price goes first, shape goes second. I think by now I prefer the classic shapes. Big arms, super comfy seating. But, there are some details I can't avoid thinking of: legs length, the back of the couch, exposed nails, etc. Then I have to think about color and material. Vintage dar brown leather? Soft-to-the-touch cocoa leather? Modern camel leather? So many options!

So, here are some of my favorites! I'm turning more towards the camel color and the classic shape.
