New Chandelier at home!

Hi loves!

I'm very excited to share some progress in our living/dining area with you :) Things are coming together little by little in every room. I can't really focus on one room at a time, so all projects are kind of happening at the same time - like life itself. My computer is already full of before during and after pictures, as I want to be able to document the entire transformation.

If you follow me on Instagram (@SplendorInSpanglish) you must be aware that I fell in love with this modern chandelier last week (!) I mean - who wouldn't, right? Luckily, it had a super incredible discount on its original price because it was a floor sample!

When it comes to design, you know I'm all about working on a budget. IKEA, HomeGoods and thrift stores are my best friends. However, there are some pieces worth investing in, like yes! this spectacular timeless chandelier (Side note: This is part of the beauty of living in this country. Outlets and holiday sales, anyone?)

Obviously, I couldn't wait any longer and installed it already. My dining area is still a work in progress, but now it has this amazing piece in it that I'm sure will mark a path for the rest of the design. Small space, big statement piece! ;)

When we turned it on, we realized that half of the bulbs were not working :( they got damaged while transporting the piece - so the picture above actually doesn't make it justice. Don't worry. Bulbs are on its way now! (Thanks Amazon!) I'm SO in love with it! and will continue working on this space. You know, moving furniture around until I find the perfect spot for them. Here are some ideas I'm currently considering. What do you think? Would you go for more black paint? I think I'm obsessed with it now.

Thanks for passing by, guys! Please leave me your comments, tips and ideas. Would love to hear from you! Enjoy the long weekend and these beautiful last days of summer. xoxo.
