Easy Styling - Birthday Party!
March is our birthday month. And the hubby was turning 30! woohooo! I was so excited about his birthday celebration - probably more than him - that I couldn’t stop fantasizing about the party and how to make it super special for him.
Obviously, I was picturing a themed party with a photo booth included (mínimo!) and a bunch of details, but he wanted a small get together at home, close friends, pizza and beer. Alright! The birthday boy should get what he wants :)
So, there I was trying to make our home look celebratory but in a simple way. What was the answer? Balloons! The cheapest, simplest and timeless way to decorate a birthday party. I chose some golden, silver and black ones to place all over our apartment, and got some party horns to spread around.
Besides the pizza, we got some cake (it’s not a birthday if there’s not a cake!), sweets (Persian cookies in this case) and his favorite candy: Gumballs! I love how they instantly added some color to the dessert table.
Our hookah was also ready to use. I displayed it in my good-for-everything standing tray for easy access. It’s so shiny and pretty that it looks like it’s part of our home decor. Actually, it’s still in the same spot. Love it there!
Our friends Kris and Steph brought some ridiculously good vegan cupcakes that added some fun and love to the party (Thanks, guys! <3) It was such a fun night and most importantly, very special for the birthday boy.
